We had a great first Father’s Day weekend – amazing weather, low key, and very happy babies! Hahaha.  We went our for breakfast at Java Depot in Solana Beach and the girls napped while we ate.  Then we swung by Moonlight Beach to take in the salt air for a little while, walked the dogs on our favorite trail, hung out in the yard with the babies, and finished off the day with the NBA Finals and chicken wings and pizza.  Not too shabby.

The girls got their dad a hat from Seaside Market (which he barely ever takes off – it was steal at $5), a “papa bear” mug, and made him a really nice card.  I helped a little bit.

I might have watched a few – read many – calligraphy videos on Instagram for this card (I also used old school Crayola markers)

I got an acid free ink pad from The Paper Source to stamp their feet.  It came right off with a baby wipe.  The girls may or may not have been a fan of this process.  We’ll just leave it at that.
