With the girls now crawling, cruising and soon-to-be walking, we are trying to map out our 2017 National Park plan. In 2016, we were able to visit two national parks (Grand Canyon and Joshua Tree) while having to postpone our trip to Pinnacles due to wildfires in Northern California. In 2017, we hope to visit seven national parks.

Here is our rough plan, along with some other trips

March – Death Valley National Park

April- Palomar Mountain hike

July- Catalina Island

September- Redwood, Crater Lake, Lassen Volcanic (plus some other national monuments in Northern California and Oregon)

  1. Catalina Island. Bring bathing suits to swim. REnt a golf cart or take the tour bus to see the island. It is a beautiful place. If you stay overnight make reservations very early. We went in July. Loved it. Enjoy.
